Our Mission

The Youth Friendship Foundation, Inc. will provide (fund and develop) comprehensive youth enrichment programs focused on education, character, and leadership development to ensure Madison and Limestone Counties youth are served in the following areas: STEAM, Health, Education, and Leadership.

Our Vision

To build strategic networks with government, other non-profit organizations, businesses, schools, churches, and community stakeholders. The outcome is to promote growth and development within the community, through programs such as mentoring, reading, financial literacy, voter registration and scholarships.

Meet Our President

O’Shea White

Mr. White is a visionary leader with a track record of over 25 years of success in both government and nonprofit sectors. With a unique combination of strategic acumen and operational expertise, he excels in project management and driving tangible business outcomes through collaborative efforts and teamwork. O’Shea is driven by a deep passion for supporting students in their journey towards becoming responsible and accomplished individuals, equipped with the skills and qualities necessary for success.

Throughout his commendable 25-year tenure in the U.S. Army, O’Shea demonstrated unwavering dedication to his country while actively participating in various nonprofit organizations. As an officer in the Army, he honed his leadership skills, nurtured high-performing teams, streamlined operational processes, enforced organizational accountability, and fostered enduring relationships. Now, his commitment extends to leading the Youth Friendship Foundation, Inc. where he strives to break the cycle of inequality and promote individual well-being by fostering character, education, generational wealth and holistic prosperity.

O’Shea is an alumnus of South Carolina State University and the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where he acquired a comprehensive education in Business Management, Business Analytics, and Supply Chain & Logistics Management, which further enriched his capabilities and knowledge base.
